I live in Virginia about 45 minutes outside of Washington D.C. I am a healthcare giver in a hospital. A Respiratory Therapist. I am a fairly laid-back down to earth person. When home I enjoy reading (lots), watching movies, cooking, working in the yard, exercising. I have fairly eclectic tastes in music, theater, and film and even sometimes will watch a Hollywood blockbuster but would rather be challenged with my movie viewing choices. My politics lie to the left. I am considered a liberal/progressive. I feel we should take care of those less fortunate than us. I try to keep up with current events which with living in the Washington DC area is easy to do. I dress for comfort over fashion but try to make myself presentable. I feel that honesty, respect, kindness, understanding, empathy, and just plain love is what a couple needs to thrive with each other each and every day no matter what challenges are put in front of them.
